What does RTM mean?

Ready to move. The home is fully built at the factory and delivered to your property in one piece, ready to be placed on your foundation. RTM describes how the home is delivered, not a separate building standard.

What's the difference between an RTM and a modular home?

An RTM is a modular home. All of our homes are built to the Alberta Building Code and certified under CSA A277. The difference is delivery and foundation: multi-section homes are joined on site, while an RTM arrives as one complete house, typically placed on a basement or crawlspace, and is indistinguishable from a site-built home once set.

Can I get a regular mortgage on an RTM?

Yes. An RTM on a permanent foundation is financed like any other house, with standard mortgages and standard appraisals.
